In the second month of 2398, Herald Elimarah recruited a number of individuals on her holy crusade against a threat, then unknown to the world.

These individuals, all lost fragments of their own past, were brought together to unknowingly meet this threat; Disgraced war hero Aingrim Bors, vengeful relic of the past, Ffamran Bunansa, Amnesiac and haunted Grippsly, 'Brother Killer' Orin Somnihlus, Maddened Nomad Mhoram and 'Pathless' loner Vaxis. All were plunged into a battle with enemies unknown, and in doing so change the fate of those around them. They saved the village of Barrowstead from a Rampant, and liberated the Complex of Hedera from Violate Bastard occupation.

In doing so, Elimarah was kidnapped. Allies of all walks, even former enemies, raced with them to rescue her at the Fallen Litany. Despite throwing the Broken Mantra occupiers into disarray, they were unable to save Elimarah, but in doing so, gained a name and face to their previously unknown enemy; Second Revelation.

They fled north to Palisades, a passage only enabled by the sacrifice of Mhoram, who illuminated the still early dew coated morning of the 15th day of Ventern, and destroyed the town of Hecto in a burst of light; A Second Sunrise.

This group would go on to lead in the defence of Palisades, as it was sieged by the Pennant Archae. Under the leadership of Orin, the city was able to hold out long enough for the unexpected arrival of the Rhyern army and an ascended Ffamran.

This group would formally name itself Second Sunrise, and expanded to include the allies they had gathered on their journeys. With the support of TAERA they uncovered a plot by Second Revelation to occupy Rhyne, kill or kidnap its leadership, and steal the contents of a hidden No-Box below.

Now formally an element of TAERA. Second Revelation are the chief tactical response for all major esoteric and terrorist threats to its peoples
