HERALDS CAMPAIGN
Eidolons of LMRR
The Eidolons of LMRR are a splinter cell of the Merse Collective, created as a contingency on Matron Elimarah Nylone's death. It is unwillingly led by Revenant Grippsly.
Made aware of an unnamed threat to all of Noth during their ascension to Heraldom, Elimarah Nylone and Sodeyn Dispariah used their influence within the Merse to learn of the enormous spy network it contained within.
They began to covertly recruit her own loyalists, both from and outside the Merse in service of their great need to discover and fight this threat. Impressionable young agents of hers began to worship Elimarah as a semi-divine being, and with little effort she ousted the existing Matron to become head of the Merse Collective.
Recognising her death would throw her network into disarray after the failed bombing of Broken Mantra, Sodeyn and Elimarah created the 'Halcyon Days' contingency, allowing cells to conduct their own operations after her demise to combat what would later be identified as Second Revelation.
One such faction was formed by Paedra ne' Eidern during the siege of Palisades. Aware that if word did not get out of Elimarah's death, the contingency would not trigger, Paedra and her Merse sisters renounced the gods and formed the Eidolons, with Grippsly as their vengeful figurehead.
They in turn poisoned the Pennant Archae, extending the seige of Palisades significantly and unintentionally weakening the Separatist Pennant Archae during the end of the siege.
The Eidolon's would collaborate with Second Sunrise in Rhyne, uncovering the plot to take over the city and assassinate other Heralds. With Paedra and Sodeyn leading the now 100 stong members of the Eidolon's, they raced underground to the No-Box, buying Second Revelation time to stop the Dama from uncovering the secrets within. While the Dama was successfully imprisoned, Sodeyn died to ensure its success. Renouncing a now fractured leadership, Paedra helped Mistress Kaela and the Eidolon's escape Rhyne from the influence of Herald Regina and TAERA. Now fully diverged from its creators, Paedra and Grippsly, it is uncertain what will become of the Eidolon's, or indeed the Merse itself.
