Hurin was born and raised entirely in Barrowstead. Growing up in a collective, as many families do in Barrowstead, Hurin has 8 parents, but particularly dotes on his biological mother, Anith.

Hurin joined the Barrowstead militia, a safe, well-paying assignment to keep his worried mother content, until a Rampant assaulted his town. Through sheer luck, Hurin survived with minor burns, and in recognition of his valour and sheer luck, former Amansir Orin bestowed upon him an iron coin, with the promise to not mention who his sponsor was to the Amansir. Hurin was excited to leave the village and start on his new path, and headed north, hoping to one day reunite with his sponsor.

He traveled to Palisades, where he had become a Brother Initiate of the Amansir under Captain Alisto, Despite his evident lack of martial experience, Alisto was impressed by his devotion to services and mental fortitude, and believed he had within him great strength to prove.

Hurin would go on to prove his worth many times; Rallying townsfolk in the Defense of Palisades, saving Orin's life from pact fire during the Assault on Rhyne, and always stopping to defend those that cannot defend themselves.

Devoted to Orin, who saved his life from a Scapebeast in Palisade, Hurin eagerly joined Second Sunrise, and is now a Harbinger. Since meeting Orin, Hurin, once a lowly militia, is now personal bodyguard of the Executor of TAERA. Brother Luck it seems, truly is on Hurin's side.
