The Ruhk was first seen unknowingly in Torrens, spotted by Orin outside a dress shop before disappearing. The Teyryn was first encountered in the Herald's Memorial posing as a Tya'lith, where Orin noted it moved with a grace unlike its more beastial allies. It failed to assassinate "Cassandra", but revealed to the party in Torrens and itself her identity as Elimarah. These Tya'liths continuously harassed the party until their escape from the Flood Channels.

The first allusion to Second Revelation came from the Burning Man, who spoke of his village destroyed by Tyaa'liths, led by a woman in white, a man in black, and a 'thing' in red.

He commanded a number of bandit groups within the Neck, including one led by Violate Bastard Korath. The sudden appearance of Sinath, the Death Artist, with new and horrifying powers opened questions of how she acquired such ability by Elimarah.

The Ruhk presumably followed Second Sunrise until his planned ambush in the Complex, where he led the operation and successfully kidnapped Elimarah alongside the Asva, who decimated the Surveyor Scouts and wounded both Aingrim and Orin.

Sinath, now known as the Faras, was encountered in the Complex by Vaxis, who successfully warded her away with the Ratflusher he recovered.

When Steward Riaydrihn was captured after the assault on the Complex, he attempted to barter for his life by revealing his sponsor; 'The Dama'; a name which Grippsly could not hear or comprehend.

The Faras later harassed the group on their expedition to rescue Elimarah, luring Mhoram from them and stealing him away to the Fallen Litany. Once inside they found a letter, addressed by the Dama to Faras, warning her of the mercenary groups approach.

After rescuing Elimarah, she revealed their name, some of their members and their goal to destabilize Noth. They met 6 members of Second Revelation not long after, and were defeated; Elimarah and Grippsly both killed by the Dama with just a glance, Ffamran commanded to kill himself by a man long from his past; and Orin and Aingrim beaten down by the Asva and a grey monster called the Teyryn respectively. Only Vaxis was able to escape unscathed.

Second Revelation then harassed the group for three days, until they staged a second confrontation in the burning town of Hecto to their disastrous defeat.

Since encountering Second Sunrise, all but the Asva have suffered varying injuries and wounds, most unrecoverable.

Only the Ruhk and Dama has been encountered after this failed operation at Hecto, seen once by Grippsly during the siege of Palisades, and later in a dream. And yet, their presence can be felt everywhere at once...
