HERALDS CAMPAIGN
The Red Asva
The Red Asva is an unknown masked and mute member of Second Revelation.
Nothing is known about the Asva, or how the blade Longitude came into possession. Even other members of Second Revelation question its motives and goals.
There is more to uncover here...
The Asva is a tall humanoid, covered in red cloth and white angular armor. It wears a unadorned diamond shaped white mask, which completely covers its face, baring no holes for eyes or its mouth.
It is completely silent, not even letting out cries of pain or breaths of exertion. Many who work with or have encountered the Asva suspect its not entirely a living thing. Despite this, it has intelligence, able to communicate with its hands, suggesting its silence is unintentional to some degree.
It is never seen without the fabled sword Longitude; the sword stolen from Kerebrihn and used exclusively by the Violate King.

The Asva has the ability to chronologically reverse itself, moving backwards through time like flowing through water, returning to a previous, and often more advantageous position.
It is seemingly able to remember actions it undoes, as it uses this ability to catch opponents unaware. This also avoids fatal damage it would experience, such as when it was beheaded by Aingrim and seemingly came back to life, head reattached.
This also enables it to attack recklessly, throwing itself into groups of enemies knowing wounds taken will simply be undone, but wounds it deals will further impede and weaken its opponents.
This makes the Asva technically inexhaustible and immortal, the pinnacle hunter letting time erode the strength and will of its opponents.
The Asva was first encountered in the Complex, where it fought Aingrim and the Surveyors while Orin fought the Ruhk. Aingrim was able to behead it, but celebration turned to confusion when the Asva seemingly returned to life; appearing behind Potern and cutting him through.
Unable to predict its stuttering and convulsive movements, Lankter was also killed before it severely wounded Aingrim, Siobar and Teleres. It then joined the Ruhk and sliced Orin's arm off, ending the fight.
It got into a silent argument with the Ruhk, seemingly insisting they take Orin with them. The Ruhk compromised by taking Orin's arm instead.
It later appeared during the party's retreat from the Fallen Litany, where it fought and bested Orin again before Orin disappeared.
It was then encountered in Hecto, and again outside Palisades, where Aingrim was able to figure out its tactics and chase it away as the Ruhk retreated.
