Violate Bastards

The Violate Bastards are a cult dedicated to BLEM and their father, the Violate King. They are the highly trained and ruthless leader of bandit groups all throughout Enaeth and South Arath.

History

Despite the connotation of being the Violate King’s children, all of ‘Beieliem’s Get’ are actually children orphaned from war, captured as slaves and reared by the King to be unparalleled warriors for the new, lawless world he wished to create.

They trained, fought and died in incredibly harsh conditions, yet worshipped their new, aloof and uncaring father and his instruction for creating the perfect army. In their search for approval, his children would kill each other with the demented belief only one could truly earn his approval.

When the King was defeated and his army destroyed at the end of 2375 3G.c, he disappeared along with his most loyal commanders and plethora of children warriors. It is rumoured this remnant hid in caves along the northern border of the Circiern region, but evidence of such was never found.

While the Violate King has not been seen or heard from in the 23 years since his disappearance, his bastards have begun appearing all across the land as leaders of warbands, bandit encampments, and even returning to maintain lawless control of the ruined city of Kerebrihn. Each bastard is a king of their own tiny kingdom; while they each share the same goal of a chaotic Noth, they know they will not share that reward with each other.

Their search for a mad man’s approval has led to betrayal and cutthroat methods within the Bastards, as their imagined fight to survive continues.

Each believes only one will be worthy to follow their fathers footsteps and usher in a new era of chaos, with them as its Herald.

Recent Events

The Violate Bastards were first encountered by Second Sunrise during their escape through the Neck. The shapeshifter Bastard Korath had led a failed ambush on the party, but escaped to summon reinforcements. The party was successful in escaping him and making their way to the Road Project north of the Neck.

It was here they were petitioned by Road Project Foreman Yeor to pacify a nearby Complex and exterminate Korath and his brother Riaydrihn, who had occupied the tower with their loyalists. In a planning meeting, Cpt. Teleres highlighted how unusual it was to encounter two Bastards working together.

The parties planned raid in the Complex was thwarted by Riaydrihn, who activated its lockdown and separated the party. Korath was successful in impersonating Teleres to lure Ffamran, Grippsly and Kovan into an ambush, but was forced to escape when the ambush failed.

Ultimately, the party was able to ascend the Complex, end the lockdown, and kill Riaydrihn after he failed to detonate an explosive. Before his death, he revealed he was supported and financed by two members of an unknown organsation; the Black Ruhk, and the White Dama.

On reuniting in Palisades, Kovan shared with Ffamran his daring trip north with Rhoawn where they escaped Korath and his outriders a second time. Korath's Outriders were presumably all destroyed when Kovan and Rhoawn were saved by a Merse Cell, led by Paedra ne' Eidern. Korath's fate however is unknown.
