Regina Garaseehn
Herald Regina Garaseehn is the current Executor Officer of TAERA and defacto economic ruler of Enaeth.
Due to her ascension, Regina has the appearance of a youthful dark-haired woman despite being almost 50, with pale skin, elvish features and paradoxically brown-blue eyes. She is often seen in lavish white, gold and black outfits denoting her station of Executor. She is often followed closely by the buzz of Tariat fairies that cloud constantly above her, giving her presence an authoritative and almost sinister air.
Regina is known for her curt, no nonsense manner, and for swearing like a sailor. She is also known to be incredibly quick to anger, and equally as quick to demonstrate to anyone that argues with her why she is Executor, and Herald of Authority.
Some would believe that being a Herald of VNTS and a former member of the Theovocate court requires a modicum of patience and respect beyond mortal man. Not so for Regina Garaseehn, who was noted to be ‘unbecoming’ by her peers, and ‘possibly the angriest woman alive’ by her employees.
Growing up from a nondescript family in Torrens, a young Regina sought an education as a Tariat. Failing the claustrophobia test at the end of her studies, Regina pivoted to work for the Theovocates, where her hot-headed and practical nature made little friends, but great ground within the senate. By the time she was 20, she had built a reputation as a woman of action within the slow moving courts.
Her rise to Heraldom came with the devastation of the Violate War. Sensing the crisis would grow out of control, Regina repeatedly championed the idea of a coalition of city-states to fight and kill the Violate King. This petition was dismissed by the Theovocates, but gained ground with the other city-states after the destruction of Maysuria. Regina risked her livelihood and life by heretically penning letters to the other city-states, getting their begrudging approval for an alliance.
Armed with these letters of approval, Regina presented the legislation that would form TAERA to the Theovocates one final time. Her pleas slowly turned to impatience, and then rage at the inefficiency and unwillingness of the secluded courts to relent. She presented a final maddening debate to the courts that lasted over 24 hours; Sleep deprivation, stimulants abuse and stress broke Regina, and in a rage filled moment she fell into the Rubicon and arose a Herald of VNTS. Her ascension proved no doubt to the Theovocates, who passed TAERA unanimously in response.
Elected the first Executor Officer of TAERA, Regina coordinated the military response of the city-states against the King. Despite the loss of heralds, cities and infrastructure, the alliance was successful in defeating the Violate King.
Continuously elected Executor over the last 20 years, Regina has overseen the repair and renewal of Enaeth into the economic powerhouse it is today. Many question her continued leadership in this time, but none within earshot; one learns tread lightly around the only heraldic survivor of the Violate War...
Sending one of her Harbingers, Ffamran Bonansa, she recruited Orin Somnihlus into her direct service, offering a position as protection for Herald Elimarah Nylone.
She later received a dying Ffamran, who ascended in her presence upon delivering his message that Palisades was under siege.
