ADIN - 'In Her Shadow all are Sanctified' in Daeogram, also commonly known as 'Adine' and 'The Great Instructor' is the grandmother of all civilization on Noth.

While her sisters and brothers of the Trinium created the Glittering Darkness in their travel to future Noth, ADIN alone pondered the outcome of the Outsider God war. She feared without their own tools and knowledge, the Nothern would stagger and die.

ADIN was the first to suggest donating their own power to select members of the primitive races, and selected an agent of their own to learn and show others how to mould materials with their new powers, creating the first Modular.

Like RISR, ADIN was a collaborator; she knew that guidance from one god alone would lead to ruin. She encouraged the division of individuals based on their biological and psychological dispositions, giving people roles to perform in their new communities, and identity to nourish the mind; those with minds for establishing common rules went to VNTS to become lawmakers, those with minds and bodies for caring and protecting others went to SLMV and LNTR, and those that wanted to build came to her; to not just assemble buildings, but the people that would fill them.

ADIN is the need for shelter and safety it offers. She is the temple that must be built for worship to follow. She is the desperate teacher and mentor of the Trinium, guiding Noth like a mother guiding her children through a lesson they will never fully understand. 

She is the muse of all creators, the whisper of invention, and the low roar of construction. The danger of the wilds breaks over her back like the waves; on her behalf, societies return from collapse, like the ebb and flow of the tide.

As well as the theological head of the Trinium, ADIN is also the matron deity of the Modular Association, and has been since its inception sometime in the First Cycle.
